Biography

Leïla Dubus is a French Textile and Print consultant based in New York.

After working in luxury fashion in Europe for houses like Alexander McQueen and See by Chloe, Leïla moved to New York in 2013.

She worked 5 years for Oscar de la Renta, where she was in charge of the artworks for the brand. She created and developed designs for RTW, accessories, home, childrenswear and bridal.

In 2018, she founded a consultancy & freelance studio, developing and curating textile collections and custom projects for multiple international clients.

She finds inspiration in her French roots and her current New York lifestyle, mixing references, styles and techniques to bring her unique artworks.

Her process starts with in depth research informed by her extensive knowledge in art history and contemporary art, then experimentations to develop original designs.
